Students enrolled at one of Universities Australia’s 38 member universities have the opportunity to complete the 2026 survey. The survey aims to ensure all student voices are heard, including women, men and gender-diverse students, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational and research students, students from LGBTQIA+ communities, students with disabilities, students from culturally and racially marginalised backgrounds, domestic and international students.
If you are a student aged 16 years or older, who was currently enrolled onshore in a course on 30th June 2026 at a participating university, you will receive an email from Roy Morgan inviting you to complete the survey.
The National Student Safety Survey gives eligible students an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives on sexual violence and harm. You do not need to have experienced sexual violence or harm to take part. The survey is for all eligible students, and every student’s perspective matters.
Participation is voluntary and confidential. If you choose to participate, your experiences and perspectives can help inform positive change and contribute to safer campuses for current and future students.
Your experiences matter. Every response helps build a clearer picture of student wellbeing in Australia. By taking part, you are helping:
